Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino Customized
I complained about Starbucks’ green tea frappuccino in this post that it didn’t taste like green tea (or Matcha), but rather like some sort of bubble gum.

I finally learned the reason is that they add melon syrup to it. That explains my bubble gum association. If you ask them not to add melon syrup, it’ll taste more like green tea. And if you’re a matcha fan, I recommend asking for extra matcha. Now, if they ask you how many scoop, don’t ask for more than 1 because it’ll be way too powering even for my taste. And keep in mind I usually get venti so if you usually get tall, i wouldn’t recommend asking for extra matcha powder.

I’m totally and completely addicted to Starbucks’ Green Tea Frap. I’ve started getting it without the whipped topping, though (I cut calories wherever possible!)
Panera Bread’s Iced Green Tea is another addiction of mine. It’s just amazing.

Hmm, I gotta give Panera’s Iced Green Tea a try. I saw it on the menu the other day but haven’t tried it.
As for Sbux’ green tea frap, do you get the light version and do you add the melon syrup? I’ve never had the regular version and I don’t like the watery texture of light frap.

I’m in love with these Green tea Frappes. Got hooked on to it in Bangkok last week and couldn’t do without my daily morning (1pm) fix, hehe. Now I’m back in the middle wast and having withdrawl symptoms.
